In the State of Nevada patients have the right of
direct access to Physical Therapy services without needing a medical doctors's prescription. Despite this fact, however, insurance
plans may have different requirements so you are advised to check your plan details carefully.
Medicare, for
example, is a federal program which requires a medical doctor's authorization for Physical Therapy Services.
